More Obama wealth redistribution, now with a Civil Rights twist

Biden probably will not want to discuss that either.

Obama, in 2001 Interview, Lamented Failure of Civil Rights Movement to Redistribute Wealth
In a radio interview in 2001, Barack Obama said the civil rights movement failed when it became so dependent on the Supreme Court that it never got around to working toward redistributing income.

"Today, he claims he will only tax the rich. But we've seen in the past that he's willing to support taxes that hit people squarely in the middle class, and with a trillion dollars in new spending, the most likely outcome is that everyone who pays taxes will be paying for his spending," McCain said.

That's HUGE...I figured the truth would come out sooner than later but alas, it's already too late. McCain is playing it too safe and is on the road to a Landslide loss.

I think you're going to be pleasantly surprised come Nov 5th. I will continue to post a link to one of the most accurate polls (CNN it is not)

You can throw every poll out the window this election. The mass registering of Democratic Youth does not show up on the tracking polls because most are done via home phone numbers. The vast majority of these new registrants have no home phone and only use cell phones.

This is going to be a landslide for Obama.

Very true; however, this election is a bit different than that of the past based on the huge number of registrants, dissatisfaction with Bush, the war in Iraq and the racial component.

The reason it failed was because Dr. King was assassinated. He, along with his supporters, had planned the "Poor People March" on Washington, which was supposed to take place in late 1968. They estimated it would be the largest march they had ever had, and expected a turnout of over 1 million people. The purpose of the march was to protest against the capitalist system which denied many of them jobs and equal pay for equal work. It was surely a pro-socialist agenda. But King was killed a month or two before the march, and it basically fell apart at that point.

That is what Obama is referring to -- a movement lead by Dr. King. If you are going to criticize the ideas, why not criticize the leadership of the movement rather than someone who is referring to its failure 33 years later.

Socialist...glad it failed...not glad for what happened to him, but glad it failed. Hope it fails again.

I simply think he lacks testicles, and that a crazy inexperienced hock mom is going to be easier to throw out. Does that make me sexist? Does anyone remember the firestorm over his ethnicity? I do. In MY OPINION, he has used the issue when it is convenient, and ignored it the rest of the time, because it is a NON-ISSUE. Go look at his lineage before you pull that ish, please. Most of the youth I know that supports Obama are 16 year olds from California, or who want to be. I am from one of the most liberal places on the east coast, and I know very few people that are voting for him that weren't exposed to coke in the womb, or are complete airheads.
