Strike One for Obama
So much for reaching out...I guess it really is WHO he associates with who makes the man. Two strikes left and he's yet to be sworn into office yet. Man this is going to be a long 4 years if this keeps up. Nicknamed "Rahmbo", the Congressman is well known for aggression and great intensity. He sent a rotting fish to a pollster whom he said sent inaccurate and poorly prepared research to him while working as national campaign director at the DCCC during the late 1980s

Hold on MLG...give the guy some time to get established. I'm giving ObeyOneCanoby until Jan 20 before I start remarking. There is a LOT he has to worry about right now and voting present isn't possible

I'd say it was a smart pick. At least now there should be no question on how Obama's relationship with Israel will be. Strike One?

The Web site for the Israeli newspaper Haaretz on Wednesday was filled with articles on what an Obama presidency would mean for Israel. The top story, on Emanuel, noted his deep Jewish roots.
