Strike One for Obama

for selecting a total partisan hack like Illinois Rep. Rahm Emanuel as White House chief of staff.

So much for reaching out...I guess it really is WHO he associates with who makes the man.

Two strikes left and he's yet to be sworn into office yet. Man this is going to be a long 4 years if this keeps up.

Nicknamed "Rahmbo", the Congressman is well known for aggression and great intensity. He sent a rotting fish to a pollster whom he said sent inaccurate and poorly prepared research to him while working as national campaign director at the DCCC during the late 1980s

Does "staunch" and "centrist" really go together? Centrist is a position that not too far Left nor too far Right --- the majority of the population would fall into this position

Hold on MLG...give the guy some time to get established. I'm giving ObeyOneCanoby until Jan 20 before I start remarking. There is a LOT he has to worry about right now and voting present isn't possible

... who the hell would Obama pick for Chief of Staff?
Sununu, Coburn or maybe Coleman...

LabGuy: I hope you don't react to everything coming down the
pike in the next few months. Not good for the BP and it is simply
politics.

Working on it. Give me some time. After I build my business a little more, so I can afford to pay the extra capital gains taxes I'll incur when I sell it , then I'll be able to afford to be a politician.

If a couple of things fall into line in the next year, I'm in.
