Imagine that....the government spends money on something, and the people actually get something in return.


Quite a switch from the current philosophy of: tax dollars = a whole in the ground in some third world country.


They can start on the street 2 blocks from my house that you wouldn't know is even a street except for it having some signs on it. Maybe this will help the few of us who no longer drive SUVs and actually have trouble driving on surfaces that aren't made of smooth pavement.

Long term reconstruction plan == HUGE DEBT. And we thought a few trillion here and there was bad. While he is outlining this "plan" how about creating a hydrogen infrastructure and locking down the electronics on your already existing 'crap'.

Has anyone here ever watched how long a construction project takes on a road/highway? Were talking decades here

Rooosesvelt's new deal did not provide an economic boom. It only lengthened the depression. This will bode no better.

Decided that so far spending NOTHING except my new holiday shopping list:
Creating a garden and growing my own vegetables. Starting inside over the winter.
Root Cellar/secured storage with room for ammunition, brown rice, flour, dry yeast (beer) sugar and LOTSA WATER.
Concealed carry permit (finally).
Barbed wire.
Red Snapper, electrified fencing, mmmmm tasty.
Buying HazMat suits. Male/Female + dog suits. (remember that 'Chelle and or cmyX5go!! )
Generator + 500gl fuel.
Water purifier.
Every air purifier.
Turning on the alarm at the house.
Getting a Guard Dog. no.. 2 Guard dogs.
More weapons.
Underground shelter with minimum 6 months of food/water. I likes me some sardines!!
Duct tape.
Parachute cording.
Then, I wll be ready for the eventualities off our NEW Gubment's policies on fiscal soundness.

Great...My wife who is now unemployed can get a job building a new road. Have you seen the road crews working along side of the freeways? Here in California they sit around and build something that makes some sense the year they start planning the project; however, when they actually start the construction years later it ends up being inadequate for the traffic and by the time they finish the project it ends up being triple the cost and unable to accomplish any good use so they start over thus leaving construction backs up traffic jams for decades.

One thing his building plan will do here in California...It will give jobs to thousands of illegal aliens from South of the Border so they can send that money back to Mexico.
