E61Silver is an unknown quantity at this point
This is such old news, why are talking about it?

Jane is an old lady and might be dead before the Army pulls out of the Middle East.

The real traitors were in the White House. Making a deal to sell weapons to the enemy in return for their help in winning an election is surely treason.

But Olie confessed to acting alone. So not only did he commit a treasonous act, but he commited purgery. He should have spent the rest of his life in prison. But of course his White House buddies looked after him since he lied to protect them, and gave him a pardon after only a couple of years in prison.

But since you are surely not a "conspiracy theorist", I figured you would believe that Olie told the truth and that he did indeed act alone and that the Reagan/Bush campaign did not make that deal with the Iranians for them to hold the hostages an extra few months until after the election and avoid the "October Surprise" for Carter. And if that was indeed the case, then Oliver North committed an an act of treason which is surely comparable to the example I gave above.

This is old news for sure, but it's amazing how ignorant most Americans are about their own recent history...

QUESTION TO SELF: Why did I break my self-imposed moratorium on political discussions with Eric? WHY???!!!

Gang, you may now return to your regularly scheduled thread re: Jane Fonda.
