I'm calling Cheney satan's offsping first of all. Freedom of speech, and I'm definately not the first person to say that. I said the George Bush has been a lame duck (and even conservative media has come out and said it) for a LONG time. what would the point of bashing him be.

I will absolutely make fun of southern rednecks as long as they bash us "yankees" for "ruining our government" and I think a dixie flag plastered on your F-250 qualifies you as a "southern redneck" especially when you threaten someone based off anything, be it their race, the way they talk or where they're from. I have posted about the bullshit that happened after he got elected, ALL have been tied to this group of people and I'm pretty sure one made national news about our small school in south carolina.

not sure what the "Dixie flag" is, or why it was referenced. also, i don't think i am driving a ford pickup truck, and i don't recall threatening anyone.

you mean to tell me they don't make fun of southern accents in NY? you should of heard the abuse heaped on me when I ordered grits in NYC while I was in HS. that was my welcome to NY, and it didn't much for me. haven't been since, and i sure wouldn't have gone to college there.

I try not to read threads from people whose views differ from mine; I try not to get involved with political or religious threads.... but HOLY SHIT, PEOPLE! Chill the fuck out! How can one thread saying "Happy Inauguration" turn into this...?

Can we not POSSIBLY celebrate that for the 44th in our nation's history, we've had a peaceful transfer of power to a DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED President? By the way, a feast not achieved by ANY OTHER COUNTRY in the world?!? Regardless of whether you're a democrat, republican, libertarian, THIS very day should be something we can celebrate -- without fighting.

Why is it SO hard for us to celebrate something about which we should be SO proud without bashing each other?

I don't get it, people... I truly don't. We act like SUCH high-schoolers sometimes.
