What I'm saying, is that the strategy by choosing Palin as the VP candidate would draw in the disenchanted Hillary supporters, is comical at best. Like well educated pro-choice, liberal women that support Hillary, would automatically switch ships and vote Republican. Palin's agenda/views are the total opposite to what they believe in. A very condescending (out of touch) strategy if you ask me. Was this not one of the republican strategies in choosing Palin?
Also, being black traditionally does get the black vote, as long as the black candidate supports their cause and struggles, and is not just person of color (i.e. Michael Steele, Clarence Thomas or the Alan Keyes type). The only Republican African American that I think would have a shot would be Collin Powell. However, the Republicans have already chastised him for supporting Obama, for trying to bring back the Republican Party to the center and for not supporting a McCain/Palin ticket.
