Probably not gone on Leno, probably not made fun of the Special Olympics, probably not been so proud of himself for killing a fly, probably not wasted time on Guantanamo Bay, probably would have regretted his choice for VP , etc. Although, Obama may have some feelings of regret as well with his choice.

I think he would have been harder on Iran and North Korea. Really, it is too early to tell. Unfortunately, with the Dems controlling everything, I think Obama is going to do a lot of things that end up upsetting many of his supporters who are not extremely far left by the end of this term. Really, with his power sort of unchecked, he has the potential of being up there as one of the worst presidents of all time. Bush included. Only time will tell.

totally agreed on the end part..but the problem is that not matter what he does he will still look like a great president...

..look at JFK, he was not a very good president and yet he is in the history books as a hero

Well - that all depends on who is writing those history books, and what is their bias?

I only say he can end up being one of the worst because without a balance, even his bad ideas are likely to get pushed through. Imagine if Bush would have had as much power as Obama. It could have been even worse. That is where I am coming from with that statement. Just an opinion. Time will tell.

I think it's more important to think of what he would have NOT done. No cramming down our throats of a stimuloss package, no easy skate through of c(r)ap and tax, no socialized medicine, no "volunteer" corps, etc.. He generally would have had a harder time with everything, which is a good thing. The vacuum of debate on Obama's policies has been stunning.

What he would have done would have been a harder stance on Iran, NK, Chavez, etc.

And considering the loose lips of Biden, I don't think that Palin would or could be any worse than him.

He would not have gotten himself into this new unfortunate position (weak) with Russia.
