I've voted every election since I was 18 and I've voted for just about as many Democrats as Republicans. I'd say my voting record is pretty neutral. That said as I've grown older I have grown more Conservative in terms of my world view. If I had to describe my ideology in a few words I'd say "Personal Responsibility". Nothing wrong with Charity and I give more than most but the whole idea of entitlements surrounding a welfare society seems wrong and destructive in the long run. That said I don't attend Church, I'm pro-choice and I'm not concerned what people do in their personal lives just so long as they don't impinge on my life.

So are you "left"? Yes... Am I "far-right"? No...

How about some intellectual honesty.

Like I have told you several times before, I voted for Bobby Jindal twice for govenor... a republican candidate in Louisiana. I cannot say the same for presidential elections. I have been pretty much with the democratic ticket on every cycle. I never said I was not liberal, but I am not as left as you may think. I consider myself left of center. Likewise, you are conservative, but that doesn't necessarily make you a right-wing neocon.

First of all I've posted NOTHING which demonstrates hatred for President Obama while you've made it very clear you hated president Bush.

Secondly, you failed to read or comprehend my earlier posts which clearly point out my non-partisan voting record over the years.

On a scale demonstrating the blend of centrist mainstream views with Extreme Right Wing (Conservative) and Extreme Left Wing (Liberal) views here is where I think we both fall.

Jones was not a liberal, he was a communist - self avowed. The Obama administration makes the liberal Clinton admin look downright conservative.

There are a lot more nut cases to be outed: SDS founder, science guy who believes in forced birth control, the whole ACORN crowd, etc.

Even Robert Byrd wrote that these unconfirmed Obama appointees are out of control.

Yes, there always seem to be a few extremists in each administration - that said, there are ALOT of truly far-left (marxist) members in this administration - My own theory on this has Pres. Obama being a very smart man. While he plays head cheerleader and saying virtually nothing of substance, he's got all these other "czars", along with Pelosi, Reed, Emanuel, & Axelrod, doing all the "dirtywork". Many of whom he picked and surrounded himself with. Remember he said, "judge me by those I've surrounded myself with"?

Frankly, I'm scared. The personal attacks on anyone who questions their actions, their mounting attacks on the only news outlet that does not fall in lockstep with their message, the enormous spending going on, and discovering the true political character of many of these "czars" has me frightened on what their true agenda is. There seems to be a concerted effort to erode our personal freedoms under the banner "the govt can do it better for you". This is so like the Soviets coming to power. I just hope America wakes up.
