Brother Bush took the heat for some very bad
decision he made. And thats how it should have been.

From there it is almost a domino effect. It truly is sad.
And if he makes bad decisions he'll get heat for it as well.

This article would have a lot more cred if it said years. Otherwise...

Actually I believe thats exactly why it does have cred.
It's been 7 months (a short time) So what's up with
the venom, bad manners, name calling, and the yelling
and screaming? No excuse for it imo.

Sounds like you (and the person who wrote this article) are more worried about people respecting Obama than the actual Presidency.

I think that bashing of any president will happen when approval ratings fall so far in such a short period of time. I don't know Obama's lowest rating, but I think it was around 51% or so. Reality is setting in with a lot of people and they are angry. Presidents were bashed in recent history...so the bashing continues. I am pretty sure his rating plunge is almost historic.

I don't believe approval ratings, or numbers, or even anger
is a reason to exercise venom, bad manners, name calling, and the yelling
and screaming against The Presidency or the man holding the office.

Actually I see no benefit in conducting ones self in that manner for any reason.
It waste time accomplishes absolutely nothing.

Did I miss the threads on Presidential respect that you started when someone else was in office?

I am just saying he has lost control and approval very quickly and the disrespect will continue if he doesn't turn things around. Not saying that is necessarily right, but it is what it is. You can thank Clinton for being a dirtball and Bush for acting with his heart and not his head for that. 16 years of disrespect for the office wont change overnight. Especially with a current President who deserves his fair share of criticism in his very short tenure. Like I said, with an historical drop in ratings some people will act inappropriately.

Tell that to your liberal Democrats friends who bashed PRESIDENT Bush for the last 8 years, AND yet they supported a President who tarnished the office by having an affair, and then looking into the tv camera and lying about it to 220MM Americans.

This thread wreaks of hypocrisy.
