I am pleased to see that the fellow that belongs to the Party of Hell No can spell "don't" correctly.
On the other hand, the fellow that "Did'nt" Serve 22 years For Socialism also apparently didn't serve 22 years to learn how to spell. If you are going to hold a sign up with big clear letters, good for you, but at least spell it correctly (or, conversely, protest for improved grade school results)

anything about stereotyping. (At least not so far) My response was in answer to another poster who ask a question and I gave an answer. But just to clarify I have no clue how many people of color make up the audience of town hall meetings In fact that wasn't my point at all. My question was and still is "What Ever Happened to Respect for the President?" Not who's stereotyping who. We all know it a human reaction to stereotype and we all know we do that because some folks fit the mold. And so it is with the human race because we all may do it at times, it should be no surprise that when people give fodder by their actions that someone is going to call attention to it. People are always going to find some sort of displeasure with this culture or those people for whatever reason and no one can stop the way a persons feels at any given moment. My question (and the question of many others as well is) What is up with the bad manners, the loss of civility, the unkindness? Where's the respect........... Quote:
coverage this issue has been given since Obama has been in office. You may be right that I said nothing about it then because I never heard that much about it if it did happen. The news was more inclined to focus on Mr. Bushes other short comings rather than highlight any names people were calling him. Additionally I don't believe the proliferation of disrespect toward Bush reached a level that had exceeded what would be considered safe and tolerable behavior toward a President. So yes you can say that as far as I can remember I never called attention to Presidential respect when someone else was in office. But then again I don't remember the issue getting the news coverage it has. But please remember it's not just my opinion. The article at the beginning of this thread was only one of many and It appears that it's an issue that many people are talking about. Including world news. That's why I brought it up.

Quick, if you are not happy with how Obama has been embraced by the media and treated by people in general...then you are never going to be happy. Bush was treated 100 time worse than Obama on his best day. How can you not see that? You never knew that Bush was the butt of every joke, that people booed him while he spoke and so on? Are you forgetting these things or are they just not a big deal to you becasue you didn't like him?
Also, why do people have to equate anything negative towards Obama with racism? This has been a huge issue since he was elected. When a white person disagrees with a black person, they are racist. When a black person does it to a white person, they are just disagreeing with them. I really don't understand. Let a white guy do what Kanye West has done. Whether it is saying that Obama hates white people or interupting multiple acceptance speeches from black people because a white person didn't win. It is garbage. Democrats saying that people are disrespecting the president are being hypoticrital as hell. Look at the "logical" leap this idiot makes. He equates someone yelling "you lie" to people running around in KKK uniforms. This is a prime example of what I am talking about. Unfortunately, I guess this is just the mentality of people these days.

Ok you win.
The attendees at the Tea Parties and the Townhall meetings is an accurate representation of the demographics in America and the 3 or 4 minorities in the crowd are not just plants. Furthermore, these folks (whites and....a black) all voted for Obama and are now mad as hell for this horrible healthcare reform the president is trying to pass. OMG, if all of those conservatives that didn't vote for Obama were to join in this coalition, Obama better watch out.![]() BTW, not a plant ![]() ![]() No plants here either ![]()
