The election is over and the winner verified. If one does not like the results, and there are always millions that do not, that's unfortunate but there is no justification for breaking laws because one does not agree with those results.

The political parties have fundamental differences. In my lifetime there has never been a time that those differences were so much based on fact verses fiction, truth verses lies. The talking is at an all time high and the listening at an all time low. Nothing is going to get better until there is far less talking and much much more listening.

Unfortunately, there will be more violence. Trump has opened the doors. He doesn't need to spur them any more than he has already. Wednesday was a successful attack and I think there is great urgency to do something bigger, more violent and more widespread ASAP. The well armed worst will come out in force along with the crazies that don't have a clue what the issue is but see it as an opportunity to be 'famous'.

I think having the inauguration in public is a mistake. I don't believe it is possible to protect Biden or the crowd. The response to the attack was totally ineffective. It was so bad that it is reasonable to think the lack of response was intentional. The road to effective protection for all attending seems far too long to get there by the 20th.
