What's the matter with Donald Trump.
Quote:
No, I just don’t agree with you. No day! A riot took place should be looked at as just another day! It’s deplorable. I just don’t like how you glorify it, and it pisses you off. I am never going to believe one person is responsible for all this. Your Trump hatred is on you. Remember, this is the USA! We’re FREE because of the sacrifices made by the men and women who defend this land. Blood was shed for these freedoms. It doesn’t matter if my posts do not make sense to you. I don’t understand why you are getting all bothered. If you can’t take a little heat, stay off the politics. It’s seems unhealthy for you. I have not been trash talking, unless another member feels, that is the type of correspondence they want to endure. If you post something, I may engage it. It’s a free country. Remember, we’re free. Or did you forget? And yes, I have been discussing our country’s affairs. Whether you like my points or not. You are entitled to your belief that I am insincere. I am not here to catch feelings. I am here to discuss politics, now that I know it’s ok on xoutpost. If I wasn’t interested, I wouldn’t be on here. What’s this thing with you and yawning, and sleeping? Go rest man!

Your really enjoy getting people riled up, don't you?
Almost everyone here restrains their urge to do so. Myself included. You seem to thrive on talking down to people and always wanting to get the last word in. Notice I'm the only one responding to your crap? Just know that whatever you say about others is really a reflection upon yourself. By the way, it really speaks volumes about your priority that you decide to first respond to my later post that mentioned nothing about the political issue, instead of replying to my previous post about the BBC interview with Professor Gerhart. If you are genuinely interested in politics, your first instinct would've been to read up on what Professor Gerhart had to say about the riot and the central part that Trump played in it, and post your opinion on that. Instead of more useless banter with other forum members. You gave no input on the one thing that you supposedly is interested in, politics. I guess my perception of you is dead on. You're not sincere about your true intentions here.

Your are riling yourself. Do not hold me accountable for your emotions. You are constantly talking down on me. Anything I post receives criticism from you. If I am not a conspiracy theorist, then I am just plain full of bullshit, according to you. Cut the pity party. What have I said about others? You act as if I come here posting personal attacks on members. Get real! And, like I said before, I choose if I want to engage another member’s attacks. You post a professor, who was a witness, for the democrats, at a judicial hearing, for an impeachment for the sitting President of the United States. Really? A prosecution witness. Ah geez, I wonder what his opinion is regarding the President. That is why, I didn’t engage that particular post of yours. What I am interested in is, our Vice President elect inciting violence. Do the research, and respond, instead of dismissing it as a conspiracy theory. Challenge yourself, instead of getting all riled. Let me also remind you, RIOTS! They have been going on for sometime now. You are getting hung up on the ONE last week, when in fact there have been MULTIPLE riots taking place for awhile now. Some people have lost everything due to the rioting. Lost lives, their dreams smashed when their businesses were burned to the ground, losing everything! Lives completely devastated by violence that the Vice President elect said, “should happen”. Have you lost anything due to rioting? According to you, I have too much input. Now none, so which is it? It almost seems like you would be ok with silencing me. That seems to be trending in this country right now. “If I don’t like what you have to say”... Silencing speech is anti American! First Amendment freedoms are most in danger when the government seeks to control thought or to justify its laws for that impermissible end. The right to think is the beginning of freedom, and speech must be protected from the government because speech is the beginning of thought. I think for you to have any substantial perception of me from behind your computer screen is silly. I am just like anyone else here voicing my opinion on an Internet forum. What strikes me is, how offended you are by it. Sure attacks go back and fourth here. But there just discussions, nothing more, nothing less. If someone feels the need to escalate it beyond simple discussions, and resort to violence, then that would make you no different then those inciting violence in our country today. You don’t condone violence, right? And again, if you feel my intentions are insincere, you are entitled to that belief. But just remember, any freedom you have here on the forum, I do as well.

So back to you whatever you have to say. I grow tired having to read your banter. Hope you won't be offended by I didn't bother reading a single word of your last post about me. Post just on the issue next time and maybe I'll think about responding to you again, ever. Come to think of it, I hope the admin here can devise a way of allowing forum members here to block all messages coming from a certain other member of his choosing. We should all have the option to remove bullshit from our content channel. By the way, one ear in, one ear out is probably the most effective method dealing with you. Same can be said for Trump. Don't give him the attention then he won't have a stage to spread his bullshit.

You can block seeing all of his, (Happy), posts if you so desire. Just go to his profile and search the options and you can find the option to select to ignore him.... At this point, I agree with you that he is just a very confused individual that has a child-like penchant to insist on being an annoying nuisance, while not contributing anything meaningful, interesting or intelligent in this discussion on the thread's topic.... Missed quite a bit of back and forth this weekend.
Exactly. Round up all the Capitol rioters and throw them in jail with the BLM rioters/looters. Preferably in the same cells. This sub forum is an excellent illustration of the 2 party system's success at maintaining the us vs them mentality among the electorate. Even nominating Trump as a candidate for the Republican party was a slap in the face to actual republican voters. They are supposed to be the party of law and order, family, and faith. None of which Trump subscribes to any further than lip-service. So, when it is said that "half the country supported Trump" that's probably less accurate than saying "half the country supported the Republican party." Those who would vote Red regardless of the name on the ballot. And obviously, the same can be said for Biden. Not all of those who voted for him are Biden supporters. I sure as hell am not, but I wanted the stain on the Flag from Trump to be as small as possible. Our republic will thrive when the electorate realizes the "us vs them" should be all Americans vs the American gov't. They serve us, not the other way around. Things were turned backwards at some point. Quote:
Yep. But that's the case no matter what people are talking about. Politics, religion, finances, etc.

Differences of opinion are vital to making good decisions. It prompts more in depth thinking of the pros and cons. The ideal forum is when the goal of all involved is to make the best unified decision possible. The group can explore multiple scenarios to test their worth and have confidence in the final decision. The group is then committed to the implementation plan--The most important and hardest part of the process to accomplish successfully. We are not making decisions here. We are expressing opinions. We are debating our opinions. A lively debate that is not face to face and without a moderator is destined to fail, nothing will be accomplished. There is no consideration that another opinion might have merit. There is no moderator here and we aren't face to face so if we are to have constructive dialogue it is up to each of us to moderate ourselves. I enjoy political debates. Especially those that are centered on whether Trump has been good or bad for the nation. IMO he has done nothing to expand the middle class or improve the lives of those in poverty. He is a threat to our democracy. I don't think there is any question he has been bad for the nation and I believe his legacy will be that he has been the worst of all presidents.

“Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can also hurt me. Stones and sticks break only skin, while words are ghosts that haunt me. Slant and curved the word-swords fall, it pierces and sticks inside me. Bats and bricks may ache through bones, but words can mortify me. Pain from words has left its' scar, on mind and hear that's tender. Cuts and bruises have not healed, it's words that I remember.”
