I'm not saying it's a good thing or bad thing, or that they could not serve competently. I am only speaking to the mindset of individuals serving. As Happy mentions, sexual assaults are an epidemic in the military. Many times gets under-reported or dismissed even when reported. We had 2 homicides locally resulting, one of which garnered national attention.

These sexual assault issues have resulted in homicides in some cases. Not good for our military!
