The name escapes me right now, but there's a small car museum in Tustin or Santa Ana that hosts parties and the price is reasonable. So does the Peterson Automotive Museum on Wilshire and Fairfax. We had a BMWCCA luncheon and tour there a couple of years back.
Crevier sold the most cars of any BMW dealer. There were some BMW stats floating around and Crevier just blew everyone away. Word is that sales are down across the board; not in the toilet, just less than previous years.

I have attended a couple of events at Petersen. It's not a bad place but I don't live close enough to it to want to plan an event there and I try to arrange for hotel discounts and there are tons of hotels in the Palm Springs area. It's a resort destination so people can make it a relaxing getaway as well as an xoutpost.com meet.

The time frame I am shooting for is between late August and October. There is a preference for October for a variety of reasons but it starts getting into the high season in Palm Springs and that makes it more challenging to get hotels cheap and even getting the venue. I'm working on it....

Dude, SG, give me break. I talked to Kevin the other day and told him he should get a call from Joe. I talked to Art and left messages on Joe's VM and even told Teresa last Saturday. Also, I do work and you probably have twice as much time as I do plus you are also just a chummy with Crevier as I am. Instead of spending time leaving voicemails on my cellphone, you could have called up Joe yourself. Anyhow, I am glad Joe is coming through. It is not like you had an automatic transmission die on you and yet still work a 80 hr-week.

Now you should plan a mini-meet in Chandler so everyone can checkout your special leather sofa!

you didn't know?

westfest meets have always been:

...outdoors...
... in a sunny park...
.... on a lazy afternoon...
... so we can party WWE wrestling style...

this is just the smack talk that leads up to the main event.

in my monster truck announcer voice "SUNDAY! SUNDAY! SUNDAY! THE MAAAAAAAIIIIIIINNNN EEEEEVENT! SUUUPAH GREG verus DOCTOOOOOOR KEWL!"

i'm going as nacho libre this year!

Is that why you want to lick my fingers so bad? I wasn't given any task. I just open the lines of communication between Crevier & Kevin. You never offered anything but Wicked Weasels!!

Besides, between the "The Man", you, and I, you have the most free time.

Gotta finish my work. Anyhow, just in case your forgot, (714) 835-3171.
