Yeah, I heard it's a pretty nice getaway considering how close it is to the city. Any place you recommend to lodge? I don't want anything fancy, just a place to sleep more than anything. I was just thinking of going up there and taking in the scenery and maybe doing a little work while I hike or something, maybe even bike if they have bike rentals?

About the paypal payment.... .... haha

Goto to Bear Mountain, just before it though is a traffic circle. At that circle is Bear Mountain Park to the right, The Bear Mountain Bridge to the center, and 9W north to the center-right. Travel up 9W north...motels, hotels, etc... are along that route. In fact, keep traveling up 9W and you will get to West Point - also a great day trip.
