Yeah, my dealer gave me my car as listed below
-sport
-prem
-navi
-PDC
-Rear shades
-CWP
-metallic paint

Price was (guessing) 50k?
My dealer (BMW of SD)
gave me an order (if ordering car) quote of that price with 15k a year
I assumed it included tax because he made reference to a base payment almost 100.00 less, I still thought that was quite high for a 3 series

Well B-Boi, sounds like you got a great deal. As far as 3er prices, remember you're now talking about an almost $50K ride. Do you remember what 320i's cost back in 1980?

blondboinsd 03-19-2007 01:59 PM

Yeah I know but I also remember how my 2003 325i (msrp 36,500) was 419.96 a month with 15k mpy, and how the X5's go for the same price as my 335i (previous generation lease rates that is), I need to check lease trader so compare

What did you put down? What was your money factor and residual, if you remember? Thanks.

I must say those numbers sound really high. With just $7,200 down on a $64,000 X5, with 15,000 miles per year, I only pay $750 a month. I did talk them down a few thousand but not enough to make that big of a dent.

I would check bmwusa.com for their lease specials. Could be that they aren't a participating dealership.

Every dealership I talked to mentioned bmwusa's specials. However, that base 328i ended up being 472 a month. :dunno:

Thanks. I was just wondering. Ill use the deal you got to bring down the other offers. I had one bmw dealership call me today, and say if I wanted to take the deal they offered me. I said that I found a much better deal out of state, and made up some numbers. He said "well we dont want you to have to pay more" I told him that I was on the other line and would call him back. It is ridiculous how the dealerships try and rip you off. Cant we just buy invoice straight from the factory. :dunno: Only if it were that easy.

cpatzer 03-20-2007 12:01 PM

Well there is tax.
