The latest top gear episode has the Jaaaaag comparing favourably to the M5. It's as good on the road, and *nearly* as good as the M5.
The thing is, I would never really want to buy an M5 as a sports car because it's too heavy. I feel the 5er is supposed to a comfortable executive sedan, not a track burner. In setting, the XF looks to be more comfortable and easy to drive around town. The F1 heritage of the M5 is truly, and I mean really enticing, but I just want a comfortable, relaxed sedan. I see more of a point in the M3 than the M5 or worse, the M6. |
