There is some level of immunity for those that have had COVID. It is not the same for everyone. There are no longterm studies that show how long the initial level of immunity is retained.
Vaccinations are still recommended for those that have had COVID.

All points have been backed up with linked studies by CDC, WHO or NIH which review studies and verify information from around the world to determine the necessary appropriate guidelines toward eradication of COVID.

What are your views?
There are no legitimate studies to back up anything that you have stated above. Post the best one and I will show you how and why it does not justify your conclusions.

I suggest you go back and start at the beginning of this thread. I have posted expert sources for the statements. The sources are legitimate and accurate. If you want to post information to the contrary have at it. Pick whatever point you feel most strongly about. As mentioned, for your benefit, you should read the whole thread before you post anything.

My references to experts have been the CDC, WHO, NIAID, NCID, Mayo Clinic, Harvard studies etc. I am not posting opinions but proven facts. I am willing to consider any expert information you post to the contrary. What do you believe are the facts about COVID? What evidence is staring me in the face that I don't acknowledge or consider? What are your sources for what you believe? Are you concerned about the Omicron variant?

Insults are not constructive. They contribute nothing to a discussion. They only reflect poorly on ones character and are often an indication that person has no facts to support their position so they lash out.

Most people will get covid. That's how transmittable this latest variant is.

Lately I've been experiencing an overall weariness of the whole covid protocol. I still put on my mask whenever i'm out, but more and more i'm reducing the safety distance, as is everyone else that I can see.

I'm eating out more often now, instead of buying groceries and cooking at home like everyday for the last year and half.

Knock on wood I'm still free and clear of the virus, but I've done my booster way back in October. Home test kits are easy to use and it mimicks the single/ double line design of the pregnancy test kits, which is pretty easy to follow.

I don't know. This pandemic has been so politicized it's hard to quantify exactly the damage it'll cause us all if and when it ever ends.

One of my employees has stopped coming to work for the first time in over 2 years since the virus hits. Everyone suspects she's caught the virus.

One negative thing that i've been seeing is how this pandemic has been used to further many politician's careers.

Their interests are being put first instead of the lives of the average citizens.

It's a sad state of affairs.

Thus far no one has said how many is most people. I don't think it is the time to let ours guard down. But I too have had to remind myself when I am out that nothing has really changed and I need to wear a mask and follow the guidelines. Also that the Delta variant is still out there.

Omicron is extremely contagious but the indications thus far are that it is less deadly. More folks that have been vaccinated and had the booster are getting infected but it is still a very small percentage of the total. Omicron variant is different enough that the vaccines are not as effective (some more than others). Indications are that those vaccinated and have had the booster have milder cases, like just feeling tired for a few days.

The vast majority of cases are those that have not been vaccinated and for the most part still have not intention to be vaccinated. Lately Trump has been speaking out in support of vaccination. Better very late than never I guess. This pivot is highly visible. It will be interesting to see if unvaccinated followers will respond in a positive manner and get the shots.

Actually since the time that Trump initiated operation Warp Speed he has pushed getting the vaccine even to the point of Biden and Harris being dismissive about taking the vaccine back in Nov/Dec 2020.

This kind of dishonesty or lack of intelligence is why you wouldn't/couldn't read any of the medical studies I had posted on these covid threads.
