When you add up the pros and cons of 20s vs 18s, the 20s don't make any sense unless you must have them for their looks. 18s are cheaper, ride better, wear more evenly, produce less bump steer, are less prone to sidewall damage on crook roads, protect your wheels better, and impart less impact loads into your suspension. Higher fuel use with the 20s as well due to the extra aero drag and increased rotational inertia. Of course the roads you drive on play a big part in this and 20s will, of course, be a much better proposition on smooth roads then on rough roads.

I have got the 19" Runflat on at the moment. It is not too bad in terms of ride but I really like the look of 20". I found a set of 20" available with almost new Bridgestone runflat tyres. I'm thinking of selling the tyres if there is an interest.

Abyss - I could be interested in the tyres. Let me know how much you want for them.

I love the 20s, the staggered look makes the car.

I am running the new 336 wheels on my AW LCI and it looks fantastic

Currently adding on the Sport Pack features. I already ordered the Titanium grill and extended wheel arches. Also looking for a set if style 214 20" wheels. Anyone knows where u can find it?

I will be selling the style 213 19" alloys with Continental run flat tyres.
Very nice! Where did you gets your titanium grills and wheel arches? I have been thinking to get the E70 Aero Kit for my X5 from USA, cheapest I've found so far is $850 + $200 shipping.

Might also worthwhile to consider the 4.8i dual exhaust tips to compliment the overall look.

Our X5 is currently fitted with 20" RFT, wouldn't mind to downgrade to a set of 19" cos they are rather bumpy with Sport suspension.

Ninja,

It would be great if you are interested a swap? what is your rims and tyres condition? Happy to top up some money if they are in great condition.

You can see my current 19" photos on ebay.
