Where to get a 4.8is AC Compressor?

The compressor has went kaboom! BMW Stealer only has remanufactured units at $1100. Anyone else score a Compressor out there?

4.8is lowers on occasion

Sometimes I will walk over to the X and the suspension has dropped. I open the drivers door and I hear the pump go on and the suspensions lifts. This happens very sporadically.
Any Ideas?
