yep, thats the next step. You need the tray, as that has the pairing button. It can be any phone, you just need the tray. If you can get a tray that suits your phone, even better.

dont think so. i have an ipod in the boot connected via intravee, and the iphone in the cradle to handle the phone calls. the iphone cannot do anything apart from phone functions into the x5 system.
