Australian Telstra NextG Phones for Bluetooth Help Please

Hello All
I am seeking help from Australian members on any phones which can be used on Telstra's NextG network (HSDPA 850Mhz) and are also fully (or mostly) compatible with BMW's interpretation of the Bluetooth spec.

Both my LG TU500 and LG TU550 pair o.k but do nothing else.

My dealer could only provide me with a list of outdated GSM hardware heavily weighted towards Sony Ericsson products.

If you have a NextG phone which works with BMW bluetooth, would you be able to post a reply with the details of what it is and what works please.

Hands Free Phoning?
Contacts?
Contacts SIM?
SMS?
Snap in Adapter?

I don't want to buy yet another phone just to find it won't work with BMW's Bluetooth.

I think Ive learnt my lesson about buying options based on vehicle marketing claims.

Next time I'll save my money and buy off the shelf solutions.

Any help or constructive advice would be welcome.
thanks
