Now the UK is moving away from the analogue TV signal to digital has anyone come up with a way to upgrade the e53 incar TV system to digital too.

I do miss having the TV on whilst driving to work...

Dec 6
Hex 0006
dec/hex 255/FF

Does anyone know what these equate to in BMW "P" error codes?

I have an O2 sensor error on Bank 1 Sensor 1. I know sensor 1 is pre cat but which bank is bank 1. As I sit in the drivers seat is it the left or right side of the engine?

Ok so it is either the preassure mat in the seat or the controle module under the seat that is likely to be causing the fault.
Should I get my independent BMW garage to swap the mat or control box...

Really easy on the X5 as they are all held on with clips. One note of caution is the expansion pipe that runs to the expansion bottle. This pipe becomes vey brittle with the heat and cracks with ease.

I would start with disconnecting the video module...

I would start with disconnecting the video module located under the spare wheel. You will have to remove the domed suspension compressor unit also to gain access. Leave this disconnected for a while...

I may be asking the impossible but here goes. When you open the doors of the car the navigation screen displays "BMW" and the horizontal lines. Can this be changed to a custom graphic?
