na its a hot air intake since its technically still in the engine bay. For me to consider it a cold air intake it would need to be down lower behind the bumper or something but worried about water...

So the 3.o handles it well? I just picked up an 03' 3.0 X5 and was worried that it might not tow my m3 around when i need it to. Glad to see it towed the e38 well!
