Apparently the issues causing the door alarm and window switches and mirror were because the wiring harness and wires inside the door were corroded. How it got that way is beyond me.

I wouldn't recommend just pushing more boost...
I wouldn't recommend just pushing more boost without tuning for fuel and air to allow more boost. Otherwise you are just asking for trouble, get a proper tune with a boost increase or let the engine...
