Tackled that one last fall when I had to replace the blower motor. Got it done just before winter hit here in Minnesota.

Interestingly, I didn't have the startup smell until this spring....

Changed the cabin filter set under the hood yesterday. Super easy job.

Helped cut the barn smell a bit on startup. Need to clean the evaporator I assume.

Replaced the power steering reservoir on the X5D tonight.

Leaked some CHF around, but overall, it was a fairly easy job. Seems to have cleared up my aforementioned reservoir leakage.

But under 75C, glowplugs may still be active, which at a minimum means they're working extra time and you'll be running inefficiently on...
