Currently, I think the issue was the door lock...

Currently, I think the issue was the door lock tumbler pin being broken.

That part that goes from the Driver door lock into the door actuator came out in 2 pieces. That pin with the round 4 point...

I replaced the driver door switch part. It still won't lock, no sound of mechanism moving.
Move on to replacing the actuator?

The fob used to work, and hasn't for a few months. I'm pretty sure its gotta be the battery.

I gripe at the GM dealer about the MyCadillac app, not being able to start my Lyriq... First world...

Since starting with this X a couple of months ago, I took the path of replacing older parts, while I had covers/ fans off etc.

The alternator was bad when I picked up the vehicle...

Looking at it a bit more I'm going to try realigning that pin and spraying silicone in the cable sleeve... It can't hurt, I have to wait for a part anyway if the pin doesn't stay in place...

Then maybe that’s the issue, that the front wasn’t clipped in good enough. I know the back was. I’d think it wouldn’t work at all if it wasn’t clipped in good. But stranger things have happened 🤣...
