Looking for a MK4 repair person

I am looking for someone to repair my MK4 hopefully in Illinois, but I can ship if I feel they are on the up and up. It will not power on and there is no screen coming up.

Mine was doing the violent jerk under hard acceleration. My issue was the d-drum went bad. Got a transmission fault and I knew it was not my day. $2000 later she is back on the road.

I assume you are using shielded RCA cables, next I would use a different ground for the radio. i would run a new ground wire for the radio and terminate at the grounding post you used for your amp.

Blkxer, was the dash wide open already or did you have to cut the dash for the dynavin? I was following other posts and the folks had to cut the radio cage to get the Dynavin to fit.

Cleaning the headliner

How do you clean the velvet headliner. I heard if you wet it headliner it will loosen and come apart. I have makeup and lipstick stains on the liner don't ask how it got there. ;)

Question do you still have control of the on-board computer system thru the turn signal level button? Also, do you still have the ability to see the info from the instrument cluster information...
