Hi,

You can secure the radio to the stock radio bracket using some simple L-brackets.
The bezel is secured to the dash using the stock dash mounting locations hidden behind the dash wood trims....

The one on ebay is a thin flimsy piece of plastic. Mine is thick and strong. Very sturdy.
Mine is recessed and angled down to help with glare (the X5 dash faces up). The one on ebay isn't recessed...

That's not an X5. It's an E46. My X5 bezel doesn't have a crease because I designed it after the X5 OEM Navigation which also doesn't have a crease.
