For what its worth, my 3.0d is going in for new altec pads and discs (rotors) all round in the morning, been recommended as 'not cheap rubbish'....

Thanks for the input on this, the problem is now solved, it was the cam sensor (only one on diesels).

the code ie25 relates to engine speed management, however this code was the only one...
