I believe its the pads they use and that they are "sticky" I have the same issue and it has been about 6 months since treatment. If you touch the felt pads they defiantly have a stickiness to them.

If you are talking about the knocking sound and hollow tapping sound while driving, there is a service fix for it. Not a recall, but they reseal the doors with a teflon tape as well as the sunroof....
