I had to lower the crossmember a couple inches to allow the bolts to clear. 6 bolts if I recall correctly.
Might as well change the transfer case fluid as you will have access to its drain and fill...

I believe the sport package gives you titanium mesh. The grill depends on the sales model, though this may have changed over the years.

I believe that plug connects to the back if the 12 vdc outlet in the passenger footwell. BMW intended the outlet to power a radar detector, but of course it can be used for other devices.

1. Stick with the newer Visteon ULF's. 552 is obviously good, 387 will likely work well, further you go back in software the more likely you will have...
