E46 M3 Convertible- Fuel Tank Flip-flap door problems

The fuel tank door opens when I open the door locks and then stays open. It locks if I manually push it in and lock the doors.

Is this an actuator problem?

it was install issue. donut was not sitting at...

it was install issue. donut was not sitting at the correct position. it was hitting something sharp in the vicinity as hit any road bumps. Working fine now.

Speed is not an issue for me. Would definitely be driving that fast. The guy told me that it is not just the speed that is an issue. He said handling can be compromised as well. this got me confused...

thanks....that is a good way to explain what a significant variance in rolling diameter can do....but i think you are confusing aspect ratio with diameter....as joshdub pointed out their rolling...
