Usually I would be the type to shop around, troubleshoot, diy etc. But I am in the "sick of this shit" zone.
I am not new to repairs either. But this one just hit me hard. And I feel like a dummy....

Need new transmission. In disbelief.
So I just got a called from a "BMW Specialist" indy, telling me I need a new transmission.
He says there is slippage in the gears. Read the codes. Says new tranny is required.
I am in shock.

Pretty easy fix. But I had a fu** of a time getting the new spring to lock in at the top without being able to see.
The old spring was already deflated for removal from the deterioration.

- Yes the AC option is configurable.
- Bluetooth depends on hardware. And if the car was not equipped with the newer idrive 2009+ then coding will do nothing.
