Yes. Ours will get like that after a few weeks but it wipes right off and shines up like new. I keep the tips polished & waxed so I'm sure that helps.

I haven't had any issues with dirty diesel handles yet. If/when it happens, I'll run into the station and wash my hands. No biggie. The last time I was filling up I saw the attendants outside...
