I originally thought it was a stretched chain hitting the side of the case....So -yes I removed the Tcase -easy-about a 1/2 hour w 2 guys, i split the case ,and found the chain was still...

no promises...but
I ended up replacing the front outshaft bearing in the transfer case...noise is now gone!~

turn signal Compatibility
Does anyone have a turnsignal lever off the column for sale? or Does anyone know if any others may fit a 2005 x5??? Thanks:dunno:

Booo to NABMW
After a year of chasing a resonating vibration in my x5 that my dealer could not find.. NABMW has said my cpo has expired and they will not cover repair!!Boooooo
At 85 mph the shifter/pedals/floor...

"fog"-Driving light relay?
Does anyone know where Bmw hides the "fog"- driving lights relay?
I have the 05 e53 4.4. Is it in with the fuses?

Alternator was Not the problem...
My noise is at 85-89 mph...Its a drown,grown from the passenger side front.It vibrates in the floor and the pedals.
The dealer put an alternator in ..why...Its was under CPO.
It did not fix the...

dual zone ac is different but set the same...
My 4.4 dual zone AC blows ice cold air out of the drivers side,,but......kinda alittle cool air out of passenger side....There both set to 60 degrees...any ideas???? thanks:dunno:
