Removing transfer case actuator
Need to replace the actuator gear on an 05 X5. Does the transfer case need to be drained before the actuator is removed or is this area sealed off? What size are the four torx bolts holding it on?

That's all your service work says? Sounds suspicious, like the time when a member's E70 brakes completely failed on the highway, and the dealer wouldn't give written documentation of the work.

Memory question
I was looking at the specs for this T60 and the memory specs they call for seem a little strange. Maybe someone can clarify it.
Why does it say to use PC2-4200 533mhz if you're adding 2gb and 667...

I'm not sure what you get at the dealer in Canada, but in the States the OEM spec 5W-30 from the dealer has a different additive package to be able to do the BMW oil change intervals. I'm guessing...
