Strange Noise!
2005 X5 4.4. Just developed a strange noise. Sounds like crickets chirping real fast. Seems to be coming from behind the dash or from the engine compartment.

Um, It didn't begin loading until after the 3rd time of shutting off and restarting the car. And then it took about an hour to load, during which time it never gave the message "Loading Phonebook"...

Just got the new Blackberry 8800
So far, I'm very happy with it. Its just like a Pearl, but slightly wider to accomodate a full QWERTY keyboard. It also has built-in GPS for maps and directions, unlike the Pearl.

Possible fix for the disappearing text
For those of you who lose the song text after making/receiving a bluetooth call, try setting the text display to the instrument cluster (aka the "OBD") instead of the radio head unit (aka the "MID")....
