M Sport comes with 20" wheels (Style 469M), at least mine did. It wouldn't be a M Sport without them - highly recommended.

I went with 19" O.Z. wheels for my winter setup which worked out well.

They don't come on with the high beams, they are separate. Your X5 may have the daytime running lights coded off, which is not unusual for the US. They are mandatory in Canada.

I can say for sure that it works on my E46 as I have recharged a dead key that way. It may not work on other models like the E53 however. I don't have my E53 anymore so I can't test it.
