Electric radiator fan from 2005
Does anyone know if the stock electric radiator fan (not the aux fan) can be swapped into an '03 X5? It would replace the clutch fan in this scenario, on a 3.0i. Did the 2005's have an aux fan also...

Did you ever figure out what it was? I've got the same thing and it sounds like I have a supercharger. I checked to see if someone pranked me by installing one, but unfortunately they hadn't.

Seat heating partially inop
On the drivers side seat, only the bottom part of the seat gets warm, but not the backrest part. The passenger side works great. Is this a common or easy fix?

I'm coming to realize that it doesn't have the same availability that is for sure.
In comparison, my other BMW is an '89 325ix and I didn't have to wait at all for a euro catless front exhaust...

Trailer hitch kit on backorder still
I placed an order for an OEM hitch from a dealer in Nebraska back on October 9th, and it's still on backorder with BMW North America.
Does anybody have any better insight why these go on...
