I think it's due to weight. Sorry, but I don't think anyone will pay that much for shipping alone. They must be smoking that good BC stuff.

I think they are special order Brembo. I say special order (BMW) because the BMW branded rotors have a rust proof coating, whereas the "regular" Brembos don't. I could be wrong though.
