it is normal to destroy a few spark plug tubes removing the VC. you want to buy new ones to be sure it seals so you won't have to do this again.....

I would like to bleed the brakes at least once every two years. since I'm at it I might as well bleed out all the old fluid. not a big deal. even on the X5 I can detect an improvement in brake pedal...
