The meyle tension strut bushings are pretty good....

The meyle tension strut bushings are pretty good. However, I have had issues with their tie rods and don't really trust their ball joints. I would go with Lemfoerder or Febi/Bilstein.

I've rented an auto transport from UHaul plenty of times to tow my e36m3 or e46m3 track cars. I've never had any issues and this is with the x5 3.0L.

I am using bosch quietcast pads and they work very well. Close to OE level of braking and a little less dust. Price is reasonable too.

my 2003 X5 3.0L tows my e36m3 or e46m3 track car fairly well and that is using the heavy uhaul trailer. The furthest I've towed was a 400mile round trip though.

I installed one on my aftermarket Pioneer DVD radio. However, mine is a plate mount cam. Looks out of place but better than backing over something or one of my kids.

man, I tried to take out the balljoints using a cheapo slide hammer and I stripped the threads attached to the pitman arm puller. The joints were stuck on there pretty good.

weasel, what is the best way to remove the ball joint? go in from the top and air hammer it out? or try to pry out the ears of the ball joint where the torx bolts mount to?
