Auto Transmission Question / Adaptation Values Reset

We have a 2006 E83 with 180,000kms. Did a transmission fluid change and new filter.

Current Errors:
54C6 oil wear
52D4 incremental transducer

Could not successfully reset for adaptation...

Yup, this trigger wire exactly applied to the E46 I installed. I used the trigger wire exactly as shown in the fastM posts and the FastM DIY you have posted here.
I don't have PDC in the X3.

Yes, I bought the wiring harness/relay and installed it on my e46.
I imagine the X3 install will need the same and remote lighting hookup to the footwell , under the glove compartment.

I'm reluctant to do this as the new lights w/xenons are $1500 if I screw this up. That and it's my wife's car (already did my E46 successfully 5 years ago) and I can't have the car without headlights...
