I did the cluster and mid repair a time ago. I would recomend to buy a new lcd with the ribbon pre attached. Did that for my instrument cluster, but not for the mid. It makes the job way easier...

The deathrattle from underneath is gone. Butt ugly weld, first i had to much power on and blew a hole. After that i had serious problems with the wire feeding. Think i need to use the mig more often....

Cut the pipe to the exhaust a bit to short [emoji51] see if i use the ”sleeve” and weld both sides. Or if i buy the clamp intended for this job. Kind of odd diametre on the pipe. No more maraccas...

The ”cat” arrived today. Btw is there some kind of shortering for catalytic converter. In sweden we call them ”katt” (katalysator) that is the same word as for cat in swedish :)...

Today i purchased a used oem cat from a salvaged 4.6is. It was kind of pricy, but i can sell the old one for recycling and get 1/3 of the amount back [emoji106][emoji1]

After checking realoem, it seems that 4.6 and 4.4 have the same exhaust manifolds. The cat for cyl 1-4 have matching numbers between 4.6 and 4.4. But on the driver side the numbers doesnt match?!?...

When removing the dipstick tube, it really helps if you remove bank 1 vanos sollenoid, as you need to turn the tube a bit. The tube has a tight fit trough the hole in the ac bracket. Good luck...
