Checked my e53 3.0d into an indy this week to diagnose vibration and noise especially when accelerating. To make a long story short, I now need a new differential.

Sorry to bring back an old thread. At 151,000 KMs the problem returned with the same codes except only cyl 1,2,3 plugs were bad.
I changed only the fuel filter this time and all is well.

Also, I balanced and rotated tyres/tires twice..at different people and the problem was unchanged. There is no sign of rim/wheel damage,bending, etc.
