I used Valvoline MaxLife fluid in mine about 2 years ago with no issues. About $20/gallon at Walmart (get 2 gallons). For the TC, I used Genuine BMW DTF-1 from the dealer. (1 quart is enough)

Yep, that was my parasitic draw. TCU fuse 74. Replaced my TCU and all good again. I have since gone to Android so TCU is no longer used but still functional if I wanted to connect to it. :thumbup:
