Dealer called. They still don't have the part (national backorder) and I also need the Brake Booster replaced--so who knows how long now. At least I upgraded the loaner to an '12 535 Sport.

Yeah I'm sure it's not like they are taking off 4 bolts and lifting an entire engine out. But it does sound labor intensive as far as getting to it.

Any harm in keeping the Sport Button "On" all the time ?

I noticed it stays on the next time you start up and drive again. Any reason not to have it be on all the time like possibility of wearing down the parts used in it over time ?
