Thanks for the link to the guide, that’s very helpful. Actually mine takes the 7507. Apparently that’s the designation for the offset pins according to that guide. That’s exactly what I found...

I have some 1156A's but they don’t have the offset pins. I went into Oreillys tonight though and found some 21w amber bulbs with offset pins. They fit and work, hopefully they’re OK.

Id like to...

Just to finish this thread, it turned out to be what I suspected more and more as evidence piled up - the diode board in the regulator was going bad. The car would charge at 13.5 to 13.8, so the...

I was thinking that my next step is probably to have it checked by someone with better equipment than I have. I’ve never heard of a battery light on where the alternator was still putting out it’s...

Charging Light On - Alternator putting out 14.1V

OK brain-trust. What's up with this. My charge light came on the other day. I took the car home, and since is was snowing, didn't do any diagnostics, just put a charger on to top up the battery.

Window Regulator Bolts Loose

My driver's door had been rattling for some time. I thought it was from a set of keys I keep in the lower pocket. But last week, the window suddenly got jammed in the down position. From what I had...

When you start over, what do you use to sand down your previous attempt. I tried the pressing out the paint with a nitrile glove, but still had a mess. I ordered their little squeegee with the kit,...

Just to follow up on this. I got the Dr. Colorchip #335. Pretty much the same as the BMW touchup - way too dark. Maybe a tiny bit closer. At least there is no bare metal showing anymore.
